I lived in Nutley, NJ most of my life and I’m happy I grew up in Essex County. Since my youth, I’ve always enjoyed working with cameras. At a very young age, I attempted to create a Ninja movie with 8mm cameras and friends from the local grammar school. As I got older and more experienced, I made and edited music videos.

On December 29th, 2011, my father passed. Once he passed, I started writing the script for Michael Mossucco’s Mischief Night. I did all of this to dedicate the finished film to my father who is in Heaven. In addition, I attempted to make this film appear as if it could have been made in the 1930s, telling a story about two days in 1981 and one day in 1991.

The film was converted to a unique black-and-white that works ideally for this picture, while giving an eerie feel.

This story starts in 1981 with Jimmy, a boy in elementary school. He’s about to start his first day in a new school. Jimmy is excited, but soon his excitement is replaced with fear. Bullies attack Jimmy on his first day of school because they see him as different. Fast forward 10 years to 9:00 am 1991, and now the bullies that were evil to Jimmy are in their last year of college. They decide to have a Mischief Night party — but someone else has other plans.

Although this story is fiction, this could happen in any town across America. Don’t be a bully, especially on Mischief Night.
